From there I transferred to Eastern IL University as a biology major. During my undergrad I worked as a personal trainer at a private health club in Champaign. Being a trainer opened doors to other areas of health that I wasn't really aware of at the time.
That's when I discovered chiropractic.
Just so happens, as many students can probably testify to, I was having headaches every day. When I have a headache my day is shot. I don't work well, don't study well, and definitely do not socialize well. So I found a chiropractor in my area and gave it a try.
I WAS BLOWN AWAY!
I thought, "Here's this doctor with this an awesome skill-set and I had never even heard of chiropractic?"
After about a week of adjustments my headaches were down to once a week. After a few more weeks they were GONE!
I could finally focus!
I realized how much the headaches were holding me back from my real potential.
I started to do much better in school.
My wife and I got along so much better. From then on I knew I was meant to be a chiropractor.
My next journey led me to Logan University where I earned my Bachelor's degree and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Logan was a great experience and everything I had hoped for. I truly learned how the body works and that we heal from the inside out and not outside in.
