I love Jesus, Others and Chiropractic

I’m a wife of one humble and warrior leader husband and Mom of two blessings.

The first time I went to the Chiropractor was in my 20’s and I didn’t realize the benefits until many years later. I didn’t have any pains or “issues” I thought a Chiropractor could help with. But I was now married to a student of Chiropractic and he insisted I start going to one. Sure it felt good afterwards but I didn’t align the adjustment to anything significant. It wasn’t until my health turned for the better. Before Chiropractic I was a regularly vaccinated kiddo and adult. I would take medications for all kinds of sicknesses or chronic issues. I would eat clean and exercise but I also was inputting toxins and it was affecting my body’s natural response to heal. After starting Chiropractic care, I stopped taking medications, antibiotics and vaccines. I kept up with exercise and eating well and it took time. I would have times my body would be sick but it was actually ridding my body of the long term toxins I was putting into my body. I thankfully continue to get adjustments every week for my nervous system to function at its best. Trusting God to heal whatever my Chiropractor (a.k.a my hubby) clears in my nervous system to work to the best of my ability. I have not only watched my family under this kind of care since birth but many other families from birth to death. I am grateful to serve in this way for our community. In prayer and hugs!

It’s about inside out, not outside in. Not avoiding sickness but promoting your natural state of health and well being!

Excited to serve you and your family!

KRIS PLOWMAN

CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT

I live in Petersburg with my husband, Jeff. We were married in 1989 while attending John Brown University in Northwest Arkansas where I got my elementary education degree. After Jeff and I graduated from JBU, we started our family and began the awesome journey of homeschooling as our family grew to eventually include our 5 kids. After leaving Arkansas, we spent 10 years in the Iowa City, IA area, then 4 years in Rockford, IL, before moving to Petersburg in 2007. We enrolled our kids in school for the first time at PORTA in 2008 while I worked at Porta Elementary School. The past 16 years have flown by and now the kids are all grown and out of the house. Life has slowed down quite a bit and I now enjoy spending time with our granddaughter, golfing, reading, and gardening (although I still have a lot to learn in that area!). I would say the most important thing I have learned through the many ups and downs of life is that we serve a very awesome and faithful God! My relationship with God through Jesus is the highlight of my life and directs me in all that I do.

I am so happy to join the team at PFC! I am benefitting from Dr Mike's chiropractic care and look forward to meeting many of you and hearing your stories of how chiropractic care has helped you experience a more healthy, comfortable, and enjoyable life! We at PFC always love hearing what brought you to Dr. Mike and what keeps you coming! I hope to see you soon!

RACHEL ESPENSCHIED

CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT

I am a wife and mother of 2 boys. I have lived in Petersburg my whole life. In my free time I like volunteering my time for JFL football and High school football in the fall. I am a volunteer on the Menard County Rescue Squad. I look forward to learning and developing in my new role as a Chiropractic Assistant, and I can’t wait to see everyone who walks in the doors.
